HEY GUYS, I MOVED!
Basically, I have two accounts:
http://ken-chat.tumblr.com (Anything roleplay related, lots of doodles, humor sketches, rp caps.)
http://my-sketches.tumblr.com (More formal art gallery more project oriented with illustrations, paintings, sculpture, animation…. eventually 8D;;).
Enjoy <3
Whoop. I decided to turn this into my character Sasori. unu This is back in the day I did more complicated fantasy designs. <u> I am pleased with how this came out and I should prob try to finish this more.
Gotta love personal slumps. But have some random doodles. ;u; This was really fun to use with pressure!
Hmmm… I guess I’ll write some more about this. Being in an empty room helped me alot with this and trying to let my drawings “flow.” I didn’t have any refs or anything, but scribble and remember stuff I observe from life. I’m really inspired by this cool show “Face Off. I tried to incorporate more monstery things and forced myself to not draw my “ocs” for once.
Yeah… I feel bad only posting up rp doodles, so have some sketches from my sketchbook! All ballpoint poop, no refs. Mostly drawn in school or on the train. I bought this sketchbook 1/2 a year ago and never even drew a page in it. I don’t know, I got intimidated to draw traditionally. However, I think I’m getting out of the slump… I think.
I’m starting to shade more. The next step is color!
I met some really nice people on the train today. I made a portrait of one guy and a caricature of another. They even paid for my train ride. c| I like caricatures now! I used to not really before, but I’m much better at it. They’re easier to get more life into than a realistic portrait.
First caricature portrait on a train. W00t. And they asked ME. 8D
Done in Pencil for a school assignment. I’m 1/2 way done or so. ;o; I had to find similar looking objects and make them merge and also “transform”. This surprisingly only took 2 hours so far. The hard part was figuring out the transformation/morphing images.
W00t! I’m getting better with each practice and trying something new. ;u;
Side note: the little differences add more life to it! Like the change of hair or jaw! When I have time, I want to break down my characters into simple shapes and try some character sheets. For now I’m just going to wing it.
